Get ready for the Christmas season in the Twin Cities of McCaysville and Copperhill.
The cities will kick off the holiday festivities with Copper Friday, November 27; their own version of Black Friday.
Merchants and restaurants will offer special deals and stay open longer.
If history repeats itself, they may even provide some special treats.
At 7 p.m. that evening, Light Up McCaysville will commence with the lighting of the Christmas tree, which will take place on the balcony of the Riverwalk Shops.
Children will be able to meet with Santa himself and tell him what they want for Christmas.
Bigfoot has even been rumored to attend.
