Tour of Trees returns to help Shop With a Cop

Linda Cole and her staff at Serenity in the Mountains are once again getting behind Shop With A Cop to make sure less fortunate Fannin County children have a merry Christmas.

For the second year in a row, Serenity in the Mountains is hosting its Tour of Trees.

Participants will view 120 different  Christmas trees for the opportunity to get their own decorating ideas. They will also be entered in a drawing for a $240 grand prize.

The afternoon event also features  Bill  Elliott, Santa Claus and the Grinch. Attendees can have their pictures made with these celebrities.

Former Georgia State Trooper Rick Wilcox will also be on hand with his historic 1989 Ford Mustang.

Some 20 members of the staff at Serenity have volunteered to lead guests on the Tour of Trees.

The event will be held Sunday, November 21, at Serenity in the Mountains from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Serenity is located at the intersection of Highway 515 and McKinney Road, just east of Blue Ridge.

Advance tickets are available for $20 from Serenity, at the Fannin County Sheriff’s Office, or at the Fannin County Coroner’s Office. Tickets will also be available the day of the event.

With each ticket comes an entry to be placed into a drawing to win a $240 grand prize from Serenity in the Mountains that includes a Serenity facial, exclusive to this drawing, a 55-minute relaxation massage, spa pedicure, and a 45-minute Salt Cave session.

All the proceeds benefit Shop With a Cop.
