East Polk County citizens who don’t want to travel to Benton, Tennessee, to vote before election day still have two days left to cast their ballots early before the November 3 General Election.
Although early voting in West Polk began October 14 and runs through October 26, East Polk has just six days, which include October 17, 19, 21, 24 and 26.
Details on the Municipal Elections are as follows:
In the City of Ducktown, voters will see a vote for commissioners with Mayor Doug Collins and Mike Worley on the ballot;
City of Copperhill voters will see a race for mayor between incumbent Kathy Stewart and opponent Dale Blue; and,
A vote for four seats on the City of Copperhill council will also be taken with incumbent Jimmy Scott Brooks, former mayor Cecil Arp, Charles Burnett and Horace West all running.
Registered voters of East Polk County can head to the Ducktown Community Center, 840 Cherokee Trail, Ducktown, to cast votes between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
