A tip reporting possible drug activity led law enforcement officers to the Mineral Springs Apartments in Blue Ridge where they arrested three individuals on a host of drug charges involving the sale of heroin, methamphetamine and marijuana.
Blake Lindsey Taylor, 32, of 297 Mineral Springs Road, Apartment 104, is charged with Trafficking in Heroin, Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute, Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Cody Chase Taylor, 37, of the same Mineral Springs Road apartment, is charged with Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute; Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Distribute; Trafficking in Morphine, Opium or Heroin; and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Anthony Dewayne Deal, 38, of 137 Mill Creek Road, Copperhill, is charged with Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute; Methamphetamine, Possesion with Intent to Distribute; and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
After receiving the tip, Fannin County Sheriff’s Office deputies and agents of Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Appalachian Region Drug Enforcement Office went to the apartment July 8 to serve outstanding warrants on Cody Taylor who was on state probation.
Cody Taylor was located inside the apartment, and officers conducted a subsequent search of the apartment and a vehicle outside.
Approximately 4.9 grams of suspected heroin, varying amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana packaged in separate baggies, and several drug related objects including digital scales, syringes and spoons with drug residule were recovered among the three individuals, according to warrants sworn out in the case.
All three were booked into the Fannin County Adult Detention Center.
