The office of Dr. Mahmood Siddiqui is offering COVID-19 testing.
Polk County and Ducktown officials have agreed to allow the practice to use building C, just next to Siddiqui's current office at 144 Medical Center Drive in Copperhill at the Copper Basin Medical Center complex.
Patients who are well will be seen in the regular medical office building.
“We are committed to providing quality, safe care to our community,” Siddiqui said.
Those who think they may have the virus should call to make an appointment. Upon arrival, it is asked that the office is called again to make the staff aware the patient has arrived. Then the patient will be provided a face mask and escorted to the building.
The practice is testing all patients who meet the guidelines, Office Manager Ruth Cochran said.
Cochran said Polk County and Ducktown “have been extremely helpful” and have given the office boxes of N-95 masks as well as access to the building.
Siddiqui’s office accepts a wide variety of insurances including Georgia Medicaid.
Appointments may be made by contacting the office at 423-496-9214.
