Blue Ridge Police Department Captain Robbie Stuart has helped design T-shirts in honor of Blue Ridge Chief of Police Johnny Scearce.
Scearce was transported to Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Tuesday, October 13, following complications.
Early in September, he tested positive for COVID-19.
Shirts read, “‘Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God’ Matthew 5:9,” with a blue lives flag that has “Scearce strong” along the blue line.
A badge with Scearce’s name and unit number also appears on the shirts.
Sizes small through extra large cost $22 each, and sizes two extra large through four extra large cost $25.
All funds received from the sale of these shirts will go directly to Scearce and his wife Brenda.
Shirts can be ordered by contacting Lauren with Sweet & Southern Creations on Facebook (@sweetnsoutherncreations10), Faith Hensley at Fannin County Sheriff’s Office, 706-632-2044, or Barbie Gerald at Blue Ridge City Hall, 706-632-2091.
