The Kiwanis Club of Blue Ridge and Mountain Valley Motors are bringing the 26th annual Championship Rodeo to the Kiwanis Fairgrounds in Blue Ridge this weekend, Friday and Saturday, August 19 and 20.
Gates open at 6 p.m. with rodeo action getting underway at 8 p.m. The event will feature bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping, steer wrestling and all the events spectators have enjoyed over the years.
Advance tickets are $15 and are available through noon Friday at Mountain Valley Motors, Kevin Panter Insurance, United Community Bank, Mountain Valley Community Bank, Bank OZK, and the Copper Basin Federal Credit Union.
Tickets at the door are $20. Children 8 and under are admitted free with a paying adult.
