The Good Samaritans of Fannin County are excited to announce that they will once again host their annual Community Thanksgiving Open Table in the cafeteria of Fannin County High School.
All are welcome Thursday, November 25, from noon until 4 p.m.
The Good Samaritans will be serving smoked turkey with all the fixings. There is no charge for the meal, but donations are appreciated.
Take-out meals will be available for homebound and working folks.
Aside from food, there will also be children’s crafts, a silent auction and an open mic for anyone to perform.
Anyone who would like to volunteer are encouraged to do so as well.
Volunteers are needed Wednesday, November 24, to help prepare food and set up in the cafeteria. Time slots are from 9 a.m. to noon and noon to 3 p.m.
Also, volunteers will be needed on Thanksgiving Day as well to help with kitchen and cafeteria duty, the serving line and clean up. Time slots are from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Good Samaritans of Fannin County is an inter-denominational association of area churches who raise and distribute around $40,000 of benevolent funds for Fannin Countians in need each year.
