Between December 30, 2021, and January 3, 2022, there will be no motor vehicle transactions online or in person at the Fannin County Tax Commissioners Office.
Those with birthday deadlines during this period should renew early. Normal motor vehicle business processes should be back to normal January 4, 2022.
The state of Georgia is doing an update on the motor vehicle system known as DRIVES.
The Fannin County Tax Commissioner Office holiday hours are as follows:
•Wednesday, December 22, open from 8:30 a.m. until noon;
•Thursday and Friday, December 23 and 24, closed;
•Thursday, December 30, open from 8:30 a.m. until noon, for tax payments only, no motor vehicle services; and,
•Friday, December 31, closed.
Office hours will return to normal Monday, January 3, opening at 8:30 a.m. and staying open until 5 p.m., but only tax payment transactions will be conducted. Motor vehicles services should return to normal Tuesday, January 4.
