Current and prospective students wishing to attend the University of North Georgia’s (UNG) new Blue Ridge campus will be able to do so this fall.
“We’re just so excited about this opportunity and the new campus and all that this campus offers: the expanded course offerings and services and resources and programs for our students and the community,” Blue Ridge campus Director Sandy Ott said.
Construction for the campus is still on schedule, according to Ott. The facility will be just under 13,000 square feet and will feature a science lab, four classrooms, a student computer lab, tutoring space, office space and student space.
Additionally, new classes and the expansion of course offerings have been implemented.
The new campus is located just off Highway 515 east of Blue Ridge near the Toccoa River.
The current satellite campus at 83 Dunbarton Farm Road in Blue Ridge off Highway 515 will be vacated.
Current and prospective students are able to view courses offered in Blue Ridge through UNG’s website.
The university is still accepting applications for the fall semester, and more information is available by emailing Assistant Director of Enrollment Services Lori Bramlett at lori.bramlett@ung.edu or Ott at sandy.ott@ung.edu.
