Movie will benefit humane society

Head on out to the Swan Drive-In Thursday, October 15, at 7:30 p.m. for a special showing to benefit the Humane Society of Blue Ridge.

Tickets cost $40 per carload and will include the showing of A Dog’s Journey, rated PG. All the proceeds from the tickets, and from concession stand sales, will go to the Humane Society.

Released in 2019, the film centers around Bailey, a Great Pyrenees and Bernese Mountain Dog mix, who is devoted to his humans.

Guests will have the option to purchase snacks at the concessions stand, and organizers ask that no one bring any outside food or beverages.

Organizers suggest arriving early in order to get a good spot to watch the film and purchase concessions.

Tickets must be purchase in advance online at humanesocietyofblueridge.org/movienightattheswan.
