Breanna Ledwell, 25, of Copperhill, remains in the Polk County Jail in Benton under a $125,000 bond following her arrest on multiple drug charges.
According to information from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, narcotics detectives have been investigating numerous individuals due to the increase of fentanyl in the county. Several arrests have already been made.
Ledwell was arrested Monday, May 8, by Detectives Josh Stroud and Greg Price, and Deputy David Barnes after a traffic stop on Highway 64 in Ducktown.
She was found to be allegedly in possession of 75 fentanyl pills, 3.6 grams of methamphetamine in three separate bags, as well as other assorted pills and paraphernalia.
Jail records show Ledwell is charged with two felonies, Possession of Fentanyl for Resale and Possession of Schedule II - Methamphetamine; and four misdemeanors, Simple Possession of Casual Exchange, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Schedule IV drug, and expired registration.
