Kiwanis Rodeo has strong showing

Miss Rodeo U.S.A. Brooke Wallace leads the pack, bringing Friday night’s rodeo to life, August 21.

The Nelson family were among many to fill the stands of the annual Kiwanis Club of Blue Ridge and Mountain Valley Motors Rodeo. They are, from left, front, Weston, Harper, mom Amanda, Elyse and, behind, dad Adam. Three nights of the annual event attracted large crowds every night.

These young cowgirls made their way around the arena, getting fans excited before some bull riding.
