The City of Blue Ridge’s Downtown Development Authority (DDA) met Monday, July 6.
Chairman Cesar Martinez told of an intern from the University of North Georgia that has been recruited to work with the DDA.
The intern will be taking an inventory of all of the properties in the Central Business District and updating all information associated with those properties, according to Nichole Potzauf.
New directors, to head parking and economic development, were discussed, but no actions were taken.
In addition, adding parking spaces around Fannin County Co-Op and other areas around town, placing a kiosk to park in the area beside TruFitness, and stripping and policing spaces around town was also discussed.
