Impact100 Fannin, a new non-profit in Blue Ridge, held its final recruitment event at ROE Raw Oyster Bar Monday, June 27.
The organization is one of over 60 chapters in Impact100 Global. The mission of Impact100 is to bring empowered women together to transform their communities. The event at ROE was very successful, bringing in several new members. Impact100 Fannin currently has over 60 members. Each member donates $1,000 annually with 100% of the donation going into a grant that will be awarded to an organization in Fannin County.
Later this month, Impact100 Fannin will reveal the amount of this year’s grant, which will be at least $60,000. Grant applicants will go through a thorough application process which begins in August. Impact100 Fannin members will decide which applicant receives the grant. Those interested in learning more about the grant application process should email info@impact100fannin.org for information.
