Chanley Panter gave the Easter Egg hunt at Toccoa River Park in McCaysville two thumbs up. While rain dampened many of this past weekend’s egg hunts, the McCaysville event was held a week earlier.

These youngsters were not about to slow down on their hunt for Easter Eggs April 1 in McCaysville.

Youngsters did not have to be told twice when McCaysville Police Chief Michael Earley shouted “GO!” to start the Easter Egg hunt in the Toccoa River Park. The event was held April 1.

These young ladies got a little help as they hunted Easter Eggs in the Toccoa River Park.

There is no telling what these youngsters were talking about after the Easter Egg hunt in the Toccoa River Park sponsored by the McCaysville Police Department and local businesses. The crowd for the event was estimated between 200 and 300 participants and their parents. Neither the rain the night before or wind the day of the event dampened spirits, as the young man’s face shows.
