Habitat for Humanity of Fannin & Gilmer Counties is hosting “Grab and Go to Help Homes Grow” Tuesday, August 18, at Blue Jeans Pizza & Pasta from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m..
This event is in place of their Wine & Dine fundraiser.
“The Grab & Go event, it’s really something that’s organic, created from almost scratch,” Executive Director Christopher Hall said. “We’re gonna have volunteers lined up at the front, and the back we’ll set up cones in the road. I’ve already checked with the local police department to navigate traffic around the circle.
“They’ll (ticket holders) be able to pull up in their cars ... and we’ll be bringing their food out to their car.”
Tickets for the event are $40 and include an appetizer, two main courses, a dessert and wine or beer for individuals to take home.
Tickets are on sale now through Saturday, August 15.

When purchasing a ticket, there will also be an option to make an additional donation of any amount.
Patrons must be 21 or older in order to receive alcohol, and identification will be required for pick-up.
