Feed Fannin’s Bowls of Hope fundraiser, scheduled for Saturday, March 28, has been canceled.
“Feed Fannin considers the safety of our many loyal supporters, volunteers and Bowls of Hope patrons and guests to be paramount,” a statement from volunteer Diane Payne read.
The statement explained that with concerns over the coronavirus, the fate of the fundraiser will be determined based off of the course of the virus.
Feed Fannin is currently exploring alternatives for Bowls of Hope, but no decisions have been made at this time, Payne said.
“We are thankful for the amazing loyalty of our community of supporters and grateful for the funds you have helped us raise over many years to feed the families, children and seniors who are neighbors in need,” the Feed Fannin statement read.
