The veterans organizations that operate under the Fannin County Veterans Conference Center invite all honorably discharged veterans as well as the public to their membership drive Saturday, March 5.
The drive will take place from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. in front of Fannin County Middle School at the conference center, 4585 Veterans Memorial Highway, Blue Ridge.
It is intended to help generate new members within the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Chapter 28, American Legion Post 248, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6570, AmVets Post 88 and the North Georgia Honor Guard.
The DAV will be serving up hot dogs, chips, sodas and water for free to those who visit during lunch hours.
The American Legion will be selling their Fannin County Memorial Park shirts and their Remember Everyone Deployed shirts.
