Fannin students attend HOSA meeting

Fannin County High School had 15 students attend the Georgia HOSA State Leadership Conference.

HOSA-Future Health Professionals is a national student organization for students interested in a career in healthcare.

There were over 4,000 attendees at the conference held at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta Thursday, March 2, through Saturday, March 4.

Students who attended were Abby Cash, Kristen Cipich, Mylee Clement, Josey Clemmons, Bryanna Contardi, Jaclyn Cracknell, Brisa Estrada, Julie Farmer, Cali Hall, Ali Jones, Erin Jones, Lexi McDaris, Alexis Payne, Addy Sanchez, and Peyton Strickland.

Among the programs the student attended were healthcare related educational symposiums, and workshops.

Fannin students were also able to network with current and future health professionals from across Georgia.

The students competed in events such as Medical Innovation, Research Poster, Public Health, and Prepared Speech.
