Fannin firefighters honored at annual dinner

  • Representatives of the Blue Ridge Mountains Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, presented Fannin County Firefighter Bradley Beaver with a Fire Safety Commendation award at the fire department’s annual Christmas banquet Thursday, December 9. Presenting the award were Stephen P. Weaver, center, and Sid Turner. The award honored Beaver, “in recognition of accomplishments or outstanding contributions to protect human life and property by preventing injuries or casualties due to fire.

  • The Fannin County Fire Department recognized 13 new firefighters who successfully completed their National Professional Qualification (NPQ) 1 class.
