The annual Parent/Member Awards Banquet for the Fannin County Middle School FFA Chapter was held Thursday, May 5.
The banquet featured FFA members receiving awards for outstanding accomplishments during the school year. Honored at the banquet were:
•Outstanding 8th Grader, Samantha Adkins;
•Outstanding 7th Grader, Sarah Brawley;
•Outstanding 6th Grader, Trenten Flowers;
•SAE Record Book Award, Samantha Adkins;
•Livestock Record Book Award, Trenten Flowers;
•Livestock Exhibition Awards were presented to Jacob Williams, Ethan Deal, Samantha Adkins, Roy Green, Brandon Marshall. James Burrell. Mason Ramey, Sarah Brawley, Skylar Gazaway, Trenten Flowers, and Cauy Sutton;
•Discovery FFA Degree recipients included James Burrell, Drew McDaris, Marcus Turner, James Burrell, Sarah Brawley, Mason Ramey, Dakoda Moore, Collin Mosher, Trinity Parker, Kaylee Trotter, William Tipton, Ben Queen, and Brody Skeens;
•Each of the following received a Chapter Service Award: Cauy Sutton, Natalee Reeves, Collin Mosher, Mason Ramey, Carson Odom, Castle Barnett, Marcus Turner, James Burrell, Sarah Brawley, Skylar Gazaway, Jacob Williams, Isaac Franklin, Samantha Adkins, Roy Green, Dakoda Moore, Ashlyn Jones, Ethan Deal, Ben Queen, and Trenten Flowers.
Fannin County Middle School Agriculture teacher and FFA Chapter Advisor Seth Davis expressed a special thanks to all the award sponsors and presenters for their continued support of the chapter and its members. “Your support equals success for our members as well as ensures the chapter is able to continue in recognizing the talents and success of so many,” Davis said.
