Fannin County graduates receive scholarships

Members of the Fannin County High School Class of 2022 received over a million-and-a-half dollars worth of scholarships during the presentation of a variety of awards Tuesday, May 17, in the Performing Arts Center on the FCHS Campus.

The potential of those scholarships is over two million dollars.

FCHS Principal Dr. Scott Ramsey, at the beginning and end of the program, told those present, “We are very blessed here in Fannin County.” He cited the quality of the students and also the community. He gave “a huge thank you to our community for continuing to support our students.”
For the next two hours, one graduate after another would walk about the stage to be recognized and receive the scholarship he or she was awarded.
