Fannin County veterans organizations will host a Mountain Area Christian Academy CJROTC car wash fundraiser this Saturday, September 4, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Veterans Conference Center in Blue Ridge.
The car wash is free, but donations are appreciated.
VFW Post 6570 and AMVETS Post 88 will provide free hot dogs, snacks, and cold soft drinks and water for visitors. The conference center museum will be open and available for tours, and the UH-1 Huey helicopter will be open for display.
The veterans center is located on Old Highway 76 next to Fannin County Middle School.
