The Blue Ridge City Council will take the final vote on the rezoning of a 14-acre tract of land along Appalachian Highway Tuesday, December 8.
The Planning Commission first heard from the developer, Johnnie Hastings with Integrity Development Group, LLC., during a Planning Commission hearing Tuesday, November 17, in which he explained his plans of building a luxury, townhome community.
A 4-1 vote recommending the approval of the project was taken by the commission.
The commission’s recommendation will be considered in the council’s final decision.
