    Fannin County Animal Control is full of friendly, good natured dogs desperately waiting for new families who will care for them.

    This past week, 21 dogs have been taken into the facility while nine have been reclaimed by their owners and one was adopted by a new family.

    If you visit, you’ll have a hard time deciding which dog should be your new family member.

    Animal Control is just off Industrial Park Road at 1001 Industrial Park in Blue Ridge and is open to the public from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

    Anyone who would like to make a donation for improvements to the facility or for care of the dogs may do so on the website.

    Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with the dogs.
