Adopt-A-Pet

If you’re looking for a fur-ever friend, the Fannin County Animal Control is the place to go!

This past week two dogs were taken in, while two were owner reclaimed.

Four dogs were taken to the Greenville Humane Society.

Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.

The animal control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.

To reclaim dogs, their owners must show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination or pay to have them vaccinated.

More information on any of the dogs at the facility is available by giving them a call at 706-632-3845 or visiting www.fannincountyga.com/aniaml-control/.

Anyone who would like to make donations for improvements to the facility or for the care of the dogs may do so by visiting their website as well.

Animal Control is located at 1001 Fannin Industrial Park in Blue Ridge.
