    Spring into Fannin County Animal Control for a life-long companion.

    This past week, eight dogs were taken in while three were reclaimed by their owners.

    Coon Hound Rescue took one dog.

    Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.

    The animal control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.

    To reclaim dogs, their owners must show proof of up-to-date rabies vaccination or pay to have them vaccinated.
