Fannin County Animal Control Interim Manager J.R. Cornett thanks “all of the volunteers for all the good work they have done in 2021.”
This past week, five dogs were taken in; three were reclaimed and four were adopted. No rescues took any dogs this week.
Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.
The animal control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.
More information on any of the dogs at the facility is available by giving them a call at 706-632-3845 or visiting www.petfinder.com.
Anyone who would like to make donations for improvements to the facility or for the care of the dogs may do so by visiting www.fannincountyga.com/animal-control/.
Animal Control is located at 1001 Fannin Industrial Park in Blue Ridge.
