Adopt-A-Pet

Fannin County Animal Control Interim Manager J.R. Cornett invites the public to come see the Christmas tree decorated outside of the facility.

Additionally, volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.

This past week, two dogs were taken in. The Humane Society of Blue Ridge took two dogs, and Our English Setter Rescue took one.

The animal control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.

More information on any of the dogs at the facility is available by giving them a call at 706-632-3845 or visiting www.petfinder.com.

Anyone who would like to make donations for improvements to the facility or for the care of the dogs may do so by visiting www.fannincountyga.com/animal-control/.

Animal Control is located at 1001 Fannin Industrial Park in Blue Ridge.
