    Dogs of many kinds can be found at Fannin County Animal Control, and they are ready for their fur-ever homes.

    By Wednesday of last week, seven dogs had been taken in, while one was adopted and two more were reclaimed.

    Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.

    The animal control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.
