    Stop by Fannin County Animal Control to find the newest member to the family. 

    All dogs taken to Animal Control are housed at the facility until being reclaimed or adopted. 

    This past week, 17 dogs were taken in; one was adopted, and seven were reclaimed. 

    The Humane Society of Blue Ridge took two dogs; Tri State Pet Rescue took seven, Southern Journey Rescue took one, and Angels Among Us took one. 

    Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours. 

    The Animal Control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

    After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.
