Big and small, Fannin County Animal Control has got them all, or several kinds of dogs anyway.

All dogs taken to Animal Control are housed at the facility until being reclaimed or adopted.

This past week, nine dogs were taken in, and three were reclaimed. One dog was adopted.

No dogs were sent with a rescue this week.

Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.

The Animal Control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.
