    Beat the heat this summer with the cutest little buddy from Fannin County Animal Control.

    All dogs taken to Animal Control are housed at the facility until being reclaimed or adopted.

    This past week, eight dogs were taken in, and five dogs were reclaimed. Two dogs were adopted.

    Angels Among Us Pet Rescue took one dog.

    Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.

    The Animal Control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

    After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.
