Rescued animals are arguably the best animals, and that’s why you should consider adopting a life-long companion at Fannin County Animal Control.
This week’s Featured Pooch of the Week is the handsome mix shown with Animal Control Manager John Drullinger.
This boy has a blonde and white coat and dark eyes.
He is very sweet, and upon the first meeting, seems to be a fun, loving option of a pet.
This boy was picked up on Wilscot Lane in Blue Ridge February 3.
Ready to add him to your family? Call Animal Control at 706-632-3845, and use his intake number 028-21.
All dogs taken to Animal Control are housed at the facility until being reclaimed or adopted.
This past week, seven dogs were taken in, and none were adopted or reclaimed.
Homeward Bound Pet Rescue took three dogs, Another Chance Rescue took three, Tri State Pet Rescue took one, Humane Society of Blue Ridge took one, and Katz and Dawgs Helping Hands took one.
Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.
The Animal Control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.
More information on any of the dogs at the facility is available by giving them a call.
Animal Control is located at 1001 Fannin Industrial Park in Blue Ridge.
