David Couch

David was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to father Merton Couch and mother Inez Hall Couch.

He was known for being studious and obtained so much knowledge in a world before the internet. He loved to sit down and talk about “out of the norm” subjects for hours.  He spent most of his life in mechanics and truck driving. David was a loving father, grandfather, sibling and friend to everyone and will deeply be missed.

David is survived by his daughter’s Kim (Jason) Perego and Kathy (Robbie) Smith; grand-daughters,  Samantha Vance, Savannah Stevenson, Brittany Mashburn, Kayli Mashburn and Braelynn Wilbanks; sisters,  Carol (Larry) Harris and Brenda Pratt; sister-n-law, Judy Couch; and nieces and Nephews, Rhonda Kimerling, Rachael Hawley, Paul Pratt, David Pratt, Timothy Pratt, Melanie Spencer, Eva Stockton, Mike Couch, Mark Couch and Joshua Couch.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Merton and Inez Hall Couch; his brother, Lloyd Couch; and his nephew, Jason Hawley.

Family members will be meeting in a private ceremony, as he didn’t want a formal memorial. To honor his memory they will be traveling to Chatsworth, Georgia, to bury his ashes with his predecessor’s, most who are mentioned above.
