Geneva Reynolds

Geneva Reynolds, age 88, of Morganton, passed away at her home Saturday evening, April 30, 2022, surrounded by her family.

Geneva was born April 12, 1934, in Morganton, to the late Harvey Morris and Etter Pickelsimer Morris. She was a member of Morganton Baptist Church and enjoyed dancing, car shows, sewing and cooking.

Survivors include children Debbie (Junior) Dillinger, David (Hope) Reynolds, Darren (Page) Reynolds, Loretta Weeks, Linda (Steve) Chambers, Bobby Morris and Raymond (Becky) Morris; sister, Ella Mae Heaton; brothers, Tommy (Wanda) Morris, James Harvey “JH” Morris and Winford Morris; grandchildren, Shannon (Richard) York, Tara (Jeff) Queen, Kelley (Michael) Richardson, Kristie (Adam) Norton, Tiffany (Tommy) Pinyan, Faith (Bill) Reiner, Amy Reynolds, Rodney (Carla) Weeks, Pam (Tim) Key, Lewis (Jeanette) Chambers, Clayton Chambers, Heidi Morris, Stephanie Morris, Nicole (Matt) Lord and Katie (Matt) Cagle; 33 great-grandchildren.

Geneva is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Junior Reynolds; and sisters, Lorene Henderson and Janet King.

Services were held Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 3 p.m. from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Buddy Pittman officiating. The music was by Shannon York and Tara Queen.

The family received friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Interment followed in the Toccoa Baptist Church cemetery.
