Dorothy Panter

Dorothy Green Panter, age 70, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022.

Mrs. Panter was born July 23, 1951, in Polk County, to the late Grady Edmond Green and the late Lossie Bell Green. She worked for many years as a seamstress and was a member of Hot House Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Lloyd Panter; stepdaughter, Melissa Panter; son, Greg Worley; granddaughter, Gracie Clinton; and siblings, J.E. Green, Roy Green, Bill Green, Larry Green and Rachel Rogers.

She is survived by her children, Eve Panter, Mark W. Panter and Blake (Crystal) Panter; a sister, Reathel Green; and a host of other family members and friends.

The funeral for Mrs. Panter was held Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Danny Queen officiating. Music was provided by The Caylor Family.
