Deborah Lynn Burns, aged 70, passed away Friday, April 29, 2022, in Cumming, Georgia, following an extended illness.

Deborah is survived by her husband, William James Burns Jr.; daughter, Rachel B. Martin; son, Mark Andrew Rice; son-in-law, Andy Martin; grandsons, Ryan Daves and Tristan Radford; granddaughter, Kayley Martin; great-grandson, Jacob Lynn Daves; great-granddaughter, Jessie Dallas Daves; brother, Bob Bailey; sister, Brenda Bailey Clark; sister-in-law, Irene Rice-Bailey; nephews, Bryan Schneider and Gregg Bailey; niece, Mary Bailey; and many great-nieces and nephews also survive.

Deborah is preceded in death by her father, Reid Stephens Bailey; mother, Maggie Ailene Bailey; sister, Linda Bailey Schneider; nephew, Michael Schneider; sisters, Barbara Bailey Douthit and Rebecca Glenn Bailey;  and daughter-in-law, Dawn Allen Rice.

Deborah’s service was held at the chapel of Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Chan Mitchell, Lead Pastor of The Ridge Community Church, officiating.

Music was provided by Derek Rosas.

Visitation for family and friends was held Friday, May 6, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, in Blue Ridge.

Burial with graveside service was conducted after the funeral at the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery, Blue Ridge, with Rev. Jerry Rice officiating. Pallbearers included: Mark Rice, Ryan Daves, Tristan Radford, Freddie Rice, Billy Joe Rice, Emmett Steele, Dan Burns and Steve Pitts. The honorary pallbearer was Master Jacob Lynn Daves
