Adopt A Pet

Thinking about making a furry addition to the family?

Then, head over to Fannin County Animal Control and spend some time getting to know a few dogs before making the decision – you may just fall in love.

All dogs taken to Animal Control are housed at the facility until being reclaimed or adopted.

This past week, nine dogs were taken in, two were reclaimed, and two were adopted.

Katz & Dogs Rescue took two dogs and Southern Journey Rescue took five.

Volunteers are welcome to visit, walk and play with dogs at the facility during business hours.

The Animal Control facility is open to the public Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

After those hours, officers follow up on community concerns and respond to stray calls.

More information on any of the dogs at the facility is available by giving them a call at 706-632-3845.

Animal Control is located at 1001 Fannin Industrial Park in Blue Ridge.
