Special to The News Observer
Mineral Springs Center (MSC) celebrated their 49th anniversary of services to individuals with developmental disabilities March 25. The actual anniversary was March 26.
The past year has been very challenging to the center due to the financial setbacks caused by COVID-19. Because of community support, MSC reached this anniversary milestone and is looking forward to reaching their golden anniversary in 2023.
MSC continues to work toward meeting their monthly budget. The waves of COVID-19 variants, increased cost of supplies and the current wage competition in the job market continue to draw on their financial reserve.
To financially support MSC to reach their “Golden Goal Anniversary” of raising $120,000 to ensure a solid financial ground, currently and going into the future, individuals may send a check to Mineral Springs Center INC, P.O. Box 28, Blue Ridge, Georgia 30513 or donate online at www.savemineralsprings.org/goldengoal/.
MSC is a 501c3 organization. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
