Mr. Steven Wayne Dilbeck, age 71, of Blue Ridge, passed away December 14, 2021, in the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia.

He was born in McCaysville, to the late Chestley Dilbeck and Beulah Mae Stamey. Steven was a jack of many trades; working through the years in construction, operating heavy equipment, mechanic and even butchering. He retired from Goldkist in Ellijay, Georgia, after several years of employment. He was a member of the Stafford Town Holiness Church. Steven was also a Past Master of Mineral Bluff Lodge #483 F&AM, a member of both Royal Arch Masons Chapter #750 and Royal and Select Masons Summit Council # 19 and the North Georgia Shrine Club. He was preceded in death by his parents; two children, Dwayne Dilbeck and Tonya Mae Dilbeck; grandson, Motley Dilbeck; and six sisters.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Ruth Ann Dilbeck, of the home; children and their spouses, Elaine Dilbeck, of Copperhill, William Dilbeck, of Blue Ridge, and Kevin and Pearl Dilbeck, of Cherry Log; grandchildren and spouses, Marra Parks, Montana and Evan Asbury, Roxie and Dustin Adams, Dalton Ross and Ashley and Cada Morris; great-grandchildren, Ayden Knox Dilbeck, Kaylee Rymer, Kyla Wren House, Remington Marie Asbury and Colter Cane Adams; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Danny Young, of Cleveland, Tennessee; aunt, Ruth Roberts, of Ellijay; and many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, December 18, 2021, at 2 p.m. from the Stafford Town Holiness Church with Brother Tulley Griggs and Brother Justin Payne officiating. Music was provided by Sam Blakenship, Matthew Nicholson, Ruby Payne and Dale Payne.

Interment followed in the Barnes Chapel Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Marshall Davis, Dalton Ross, Pierson Archer, Tony Nicholson, Randal Jones and Campbell Cosentino, Ayden Knox Dilbeck, and the Mineral Bluff Lodge #483 F&AM served as an honorary pallbearer. Masonic Rites was provided by Mineral Bluff Lodge #483 F&AM.
