Phillip Wayne Farmer, age 64, of Blue Ridge, passed away May 2, 2022, in McDonough, Georgia.

He was born in Atlanta April 6, 1958. Phillip was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was retired from Frito-Lay and had been an active member of Temple Baptist Church serving in several capacities.

He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldog fan.

Phillip was preceded in death by his two wives, Vicky Farmer and Melanie Farmer; and his mother, Maudean Patterson Farmer.

Survivors include his children, Erin Farmer, of Eustis, Florida, and Jeff and wife Leah Farmer of Jefferson, Georgia; father, Gilliam Farmer, of Blue Ridge; step-children and their spouses, Misty Kite and Rodney and Sherri Kite; step-grandchildren, Logan Powers, Victoria Kite and Callie Kite; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Barry Keen, of McDonough, and Betsy and Bill Brown, of Locust Grove, Georgia; nieces and nephews, Joshua Keen, Katie and Chris McNeil, B.J. and Bethany Brown, Brandon Brown and Abigail Brown; step-great-nieces and nephews, Julian, Amanda, Christian, Bradlee, Harper, Tanner and Charlotte.

Memorial services were conducted Saturday, May 7, 2022, at 2 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Dr. Roger Beck officiating. Interment followed in the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery.
