Larry Jon Turner, of Cleveland, left his earthly home Friday, November 1,  surrounded by his family. He was treasured by his family whom he also treasured. He was known for his humor by all who knew him. He was an Army veteran and served in Korea. He was retired from Bowater where he worked 38 years as an electrician. He was preceded in death by parents, Howard and Anna Lee Turner; and two brothers, Howard Jr. and Mike Turner.

Survivors include one brother, Ronald Turner; sister, Deb Marchman, both of Georgia; his loving wife of 66 years, Jean Turner; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dwight Tinsley of Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Sidney Turner; and his shining light, granddaughter, Laura Ann Turner of Cleveland.

It was his wish not to have a visitation or funeral. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Many thanks to neighbors and friends for their support, staff and all helpers at Erlanger, Tennova, Signature Healthcare, Hospice of Chattanooga and their wonderful children who never failed to be there. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, care of Olivia Weatherford.
