Gail Marie Owens

Gail Marie Owens, 64,  of Morganton, passed away August 29, 2021.

She was born September 8, 1956, in Ausburg, Germany. She was a loving and caring wife, mother and “Nana.” Gail loved helping people and animals as well as having family cookouts. Gail loved to read a lot, and her favorite author was Sylvia Browne. She is preceded in death by her father, James Stewart Neal; and granddaughter, Tasia Marie Helton.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Gary Owens; daughters, Brenda Sue Inman and Margie Owens; grandson, Hunter Helton; granddaughter, Tasha Valentine; mother, Joyce Ann Miller; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean and Cheryl Maddox and Jimmy and Felice Neal;  sister and brother-in-law, Belinda and John Petty; sister-in-law, Janell Owens; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Jeanette Wood; four grandchildren from daughter, Brenda Sue Inman; best friend for life and like a sister to her, Ann Thacker; and, many nieces and nephews.
