Leland Eugene (Bob) Weaver born April 6, 1936, passed away December 15, 2022, with family members by his side.

Mr. Weaver was a lifelong resident of Fannin County, leaving for only a few years while working for General Motors Corps in the late 1950s. Moving back to Copperhill and marrying Frances Taylor Weaver, he began working at Tennessee Copper Company for 17 years. Leaving TCC to open his own car business, Weaver Auto Sales in McCaysville, he was owner until retirement in 2016. He was a member of McCay Lodge #423 F&AM.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Frances; his father and mother, Mr. & Mrs Luther S. Weaver; one sister,  Nella Ruth Johnson; and three brothers, Emon, Alon, and Arlon Weaver.

Bob leaves his daughter and son in law, Susan and Gary Hayes; a son and daughter in law, Michael and Lydia Weaver; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be planned in the Spring at Copper Ridge Memory Garden.
