Halloween festivities will commence this weekend, and the cities of Blue Ridge, Copperhill and McCaysville are implementing Halloween “Safety Zones” again this year.
Trick or treat in twin cities of McCaysville and Copperhill October 29, starting at 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Be sure to bring trick or treaters to the Haunted Halls of McCaysville located in the Riverwalk Shops from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. for some kid appropriate, spooky activities.
The City of Blue Ridge will host trick or treating Monday, October 31.
Candy distribution will begin at 5 p.m., with a costume contest beginning at 5:30 p.m. The contest will consist of several different categories and can be found at East Main Street between Church Street and Mountain Street.
East Main Street will be closed to traffic for the safety of all trick or treaters.
