In region action, the Fannin County High School Lady Rebels tennis team picked up a win 3-2 over Gorden Lee March 26 at Lakeshore Point.
In number one singles, Sadie Patton easily won her two out of three set match 6-0 and 6-0 while Maddie Schueneman won 7-6 and 6-3 in number two doubles. Rounding out the singles was Krishvee Panchal with a two-set win 6-2 and 6-3 as the number three seed.
In doubles action, the number one seed team of Tabor Pass and Kendall Clore lost their match in two hard sets 3-6 and 3-6 while the number two seeded team of Gracie Tutterow and Katelyn Clark lost in two sets 3-6 and 4-6.
Maddie Partin played an exhibition set and won 8-4.
In other action, the Lady Rebels hosted Armuchee March 24 and lost a hard fought set of matches 4-1.
In singles, Patton won her match in two sets 6-0 and 6-2. Schueneman lost in two sets 6-7 and 2-6. Panchal lost her two set match 1-6 and 4-6.
In doubles, Pass and Clore lost in two sets 1-6 and 1-6, and Tutterow and Clark lost in two sets 4-6 and 2-6.
Fannin will host Chattooga April 2 for senior night when Clore and Maddie Schueneman will be honored. The event begins at 4 p.m.
