The Fannin County High School boys golf team won their match with Pickens County March 23 by a score of 36-38, then played Union County March 26 and narrowly lost 44-46.
The girls golf team fell to Pickens County 116 to 110 March 23 and lost to Union County 116-112 March 26.
In the boys match with Pickens, Cade Anderson was even in the game. Marshall McDaniel scored a 43. Hunter Kennedy trailed McDaniel by one with a 44. Parker Born shot a 46 while Kolby Kaylor scored a 47. Eli Plush scored a 46 while Wyatt Vanzandt scored a 49.
In the boys match with Union, Kaylor shot a 47 while McDaniel shot a 49. Plush hit a 49, Born shot a 50 while Kennedy scored a 55.
In the girls match with Union, Olivia Ford finished with a 51 while Annabella Anderson scored a 61.
In the girls match with Pickens, Ford scored a 56, Anderson scored a 60 and Kyla Keener scored a 61.
