Copper Basin’s Lady Cougars dominated the first two sets and held on in the third to defeat the North Georgia Christian Academy (NGCA) Lady Knights in volleyball action Monday, September 16.
Hosting the Lady Knights, the Lady Cougars won 25-12, 25-14, and 25-23.
Lady Cougars struck with a total of 17 kills and 19 aces during the match.
Alexis Hyatt led the kills effort with five, and added eight aces, one block and six digs.
Addison Hyatt was the leader in aces with five. She also scored three kills, one block, six digs and one assist.
Ending the evening with three kills was Claire Ledford. She also had an ace, a block, an assist, and two digs.
Cora Kimsey and Zoe Green had two kills each.
Kimsey also had nine digs, five assists and an ace, while Green added two aces, seven digs, and three assists.
Riley Akens tallied one kill,one ace, one assist and three digs.
Savanna Bloodworth had three digs and an assist, while Trinity Smith had seven digs.
Kenzlie Ballew had a kill, and ace, a block, two digs and four assists.
